Terms of Service

These terms (“Terms”) govern your use of the PermitPress marketing website at permitpress.com and the lead-capture form on it. A separate Customer Agreement governs use of the PermitPress product itself; if there’s a conflict, the Customer Agreement controls for paying customers.

Who we are

PermitPress is operated by Active Margin Group LLC, a Maryland limited liability company.

Use of the site

You may browse the site and submit the lead form for legitimate business purposes. You may not:

• scrape or copy the site at scale;
• attempt to probe, compromise, or overload our infrastructure;
• submit false information, impersonate others, or use the form for spam or harassment;
• use the site or its content to build a competing product or train a generative model.

Beta status & no warranties yet

PermitPress is in private beta. The site, the product, and any described features are provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind. We don’t guarantee uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose at this stage. Don’t make irreversible business decisions based on a beta product.

Communications & consent

When you submit the lead form or otherwise reach out, you agree to be contacted about PermitPress by phone, email, and SMS — including via automated dialing systems, autoresponders, and AI assistants acting on our behalf. Consent to marketing communications is not a condition of any future purchase. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, unsubscribing from an email, or contacting us at hello@permitpress.com.

AI use

We use AI tools to help draft replies, schedule meetings, transcribe and summarize calls, and follow up. A real human is responsible for every communication you receive from us, and a real human reviews AI output before it leaves our hands when it materially affects you.

Intellectual property

The site’s content, design, code, and the PermitPress name and logo are owned by Active Margin Group LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, except to share a link to the site.

Third-party services

The site embeds or relies on third-party services (Vercel, Formspree, PostHog, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and others as listed in our privacy policy). Their availability and behavior are not under our control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PermitPress and its affiliates aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from or relating to your use of the site. Our total aggregate liability arising from these Terms or the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify PermitPress against claims and costs arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms.

Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harford County, Maryland, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these Terms over time. The effective date above tells you when this version was published. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
